At the heart of the Othniel School of Biblical Art (OSBA) lies a bold and vibrant legacy — one that has redefined the possibilities of Christian performing arts in Pakistan. We are proud to be the pioneers of Christian musical theater in the nation, bringing together storytelling, music, and faith to inspire audiences across all denominations.

Why Christian Theater?

The Beginning – 2022

In 2022, we laid the foundation for something revolutionary. Our first pilot production was launched at the prestigious National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA), Karachi, with an entirely Christian cast and crew — a first in the country’s theater history. The production attracted an intimate yet enthusiastic audience of over 200 attendees, setting the stage for something greater.

In 2023, we took a major leap forward. What began as a one-day showcase evolved into a 10-day full-fledged production run. The show drew in more than 3,500 audience members, including people from diverse church backgrounds and communities. It was a celebration of unity in faith through art and creativity.

Growing Impact – 2023

A Historic Milestone – 2024

The year 2024 marked a defining chapter in our journey. Over 11 days, 37 shows were performed in both Urdu and English, enabling broader accessibility. We welcomed more than 18 schools and over 11,000 audience members, including students, parents, pastors, and teachers from all over Karachi. The show became a movement, breaking barriers and reaching hearts.

This year, our vision continues to expand. With 28 scheduled performances across schools, churches, and community spaces, the theater project is rapidly growing into a national platform. We are now working with local ministries and educational institutions across provinces, using theater as a tool to reach the youth with powerful, biblically-rooted stories.
